Florida's Multi-Tiered System of Supports

Meaningful and effective resources and supports for educators at all levels of Florida’s system are critical to student progress. It is vital that district leaders, school leaders, teachers and specialists be informed and engaged as teams implementing a systematic problem-solving process at all levels of the MTSS. The Department is committed to providing aligned resources and supports to meet the needs of all educators engaged in, and contributing to, the state-wide systems change process of building consensus, developing infrastructure, and full implementation of MTSS as the integrated way of work in Florida schools.
